Treasurer
The days of the volunteer bookkeeper/treasurer have clearly passed. Most campaign committees now rely on their Treasurer for guidance in complying with local and state governing election law on day to day matters. A Treasurer is the most important job on a campaign besides the candidate. This is where we come in. Our firm has served as Treasurer for dozens of political campaigns. We will establish your local and state committee with the California Secretary of State, and the federal committee with the Federal Election Commission. We stay up-to-date with all the rules pertaining to your committee; we maintain the committee checkbook, reconcile to the bank account, use software for record-keeping and the submission of campaign finance reports; we accept receipts for deposit and make disbursements.
